North Shore Arts Alliance Membership

There are two basic categories for North Shore Arts Alliance membership:
1. Juried membership: Fees: $35 artists / $15 students
- Designed for artists and art students
- Membership is based on the artist’s work which is juried by a committee of the Board of Trustees of North Shore Arts Alliance
2. General membership: Fees range from $25 - $1,000
- Designed for individuals and businesses
- Membership comes in the form of individual donation or corporate sponsorship
This is the North Shore Arts Alliance’s basic fund-raising mechanism. You are invited to
join NSAA as an individual contributor or as a business or corporate sponsor. Whichever
category you choose, you are contributing directly to the work we do advocating and
promoting the arts in Chautauqua County.
Juried membership benefits:
• Featured on the NSAA web site, which includes:
- artist’s name, medium, and location
- one photo
- a link to the artist’s personal web site
• Eligibility for jurying to participate in annual Chautauqua-Lake Erie Art Trail as openings permit
• Professional support from NSAA, which can include, but is not limited to:
- discounted web site design services
- promotional and marketing support for any special event (ex. solo or group show; class or workshop offered by the artist, etc.)
• Use of NSAA graphics and signage
• Access to information on arts activities
• Credibility as juried members
• Invitations to annual meeting and voting privileges
General membership benefits for:
• Individual membership: $25.00
- acknowledgment on the NSAA web site membership page
- early notice of NSAA member shows, workshops, classes, etc.
- 0% discount on workshops and classes
• Family membership (at least 2 adults): $40.00
- same as “Individual” membership
• Senior membership (for 65+): $10.00
- same as “Individual” membership
• Patron: $100.00+
- same as “Individual” membership, plus:
- a yearly $25 coupon good towards the purchase of one piece of art created by a NSAA juried member of your choice
• Assisting Patron: $250.00+
- same as “Patron” membership, plus:
- NSAA sponsor signs for your company’s window
- invitation to two special social events with NSAA artists
• Supporting Patron: $500.00+
- same as “Assisting Patron” membership, plus:
- a yearly $50 coupon good towards the purchase of one piece of art created by a NSAA juried member of your choice
- special docent-led tour of all NSAA-related exhibitions
• Sustaining Patron: $1,000.00+
- same as “Supporting Patron” membership, plus:
- your company’s logo on the NSAA web site as a featured sponsor
- your company’s logo on the Art Trail brochure
- exclusive invitations to special “preview” nights of NSAA shows
